The XPRIZE Healthspan is a 7-year, $101 million global competition to revolutionize the way we approach human aging. Our objective is to incentivize hundreds of independent teams around the world to test this hypothesis using a variety of therapeutic treatments. Teams will be required to deliver their therapy in 1-year or less in adults aged 65-80 years who are free of major or life-threatening disease and disability.
This radically collaborative effort will drive new science and create a future where healthy aging is made possible, for everyone.
The WINNING TEAM must demonstrate that their therapeutic treatment restores muscle, cognitive, and immune function by a minimum of 10 years, with a goal of 20 years, in persons aged 65-80 years. The therapeutic treatment must take 1-year or less.
